Framingham Police Headquarters

Context Architecture was hired to developed a space needs program and feasibility study for the Town of Framingham's police department. Based on our recommendations, the town retained us to complete renovations to the existing 11,000 sq. ft. police headquarters which was located in the historic armory building, and design an addition which would add more than 30,000 square feet to the facility.  The expanded headquarters includes a firing range, 20-cell detention area, training facilities, and an exercise/racquetball court.  The project was phased to allow for continued use and occupancy during a two-year construction period.
